Pilot Aiyl aimaks have begun to develop project proposals for grants

As part of the project "Voice of the citizens and the accountability of local self-government: the budget process" for pilot aiyl aimaks Ivanov AA, Tort-Kul AA and AA Lenin were held two-day training on "Development and management of the project".

As part of the project "Voice of the citizens and the accountability of local self-government: the budget process" for pilot aiyl aimaks Ivanov AA, Tort-Kul AA and AA Lenin were held two-day training on "Development and management of the project". Training conducted for representatives of the initiative groups of Aiyl okmotu staff, deputies of aiyl kenesh and aiyl community leaders.
The purpose of this training was to provide information about the tools and project management skills and filling out the form of grant applications. Total number of participants in all three Aiyl aimaks was 80.
Training participants were informed about the nature and the life cycle of the project, while working in groups, they also formed the aims and objectives of the planned projects, participants were introduced to logical framework of the project, monitoring and evaluation system. Also, the Regulation on implementation of grant program had been presented to participants as well as an application form for a grant.
Based on results of the training, work begun on developing project proposals for grants. Each Aiyl aimak plans to prepare 4-6 project proposals. According to Action plan of the project, The project "Voice of the citizens and the accountability of local self-government: the budget process" will support and finance 1st priority project proposals from each aiyl aimak.
