Participants of the "round table" made recommendations to ministries and agencies to determine the powers necessary to delegate LSG

By the results of the "round table" participants developed recommendations to ministries and departments, the Ministry of Finance and the Interdepartmental Commission on the implementation of the Programme of LSG for 2013-2017.

On February 20, 2015, the State Agency for local self-government and interethnic relations under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter - SALSGIR) in collaboration with the Voice and Accountability Project, funded by the Swiss Government in partnership with the British Department for International Development and implemented by the Development Policy Institute, held a "round table" on the topic: "Differentiation of functions of public authorities and local self-government bodies and local self-government delegation of certain state powers".

The event was also attended by members of Kyrgyz Parliament: Nikitenko N.V., Chairman of the Committee on human rights, constitutional law and state, Bokoev K.S., Chairman of the Committee on law and order and the fight against crime, Kochkorbaev A.K., Deputy Chairman of the Committee on agrarian policy, water, environment and regional development. In addition, the discussion was attended by Bakirov J.J., representative of Kyrgyz Government; representatives of ministries and departments, local self-governments and experts.

Deputy Director of the SALSGIR Khalitov M.G. presented the topic of "Separation of functions between state authorities and local self-government".

By the results of the "round table" participants, taking into account the comments and suggestions voiced by attended participants, developed recommendations to ministries and departments, the Ministry of Finance and the Interdepartmental Commission on the implementation of the Programme of LSG for 2013-2017.
