Training strategy for state and municipal employees of the Kyrgyz Republic to be discussed in Bishkek
The event is organized by the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On 6th of February 2013 a round table "Discussion of strategic proposals on training for state and municipal employees of the Kyrgyz Republic and the implementation plan" will be held in Bishkek.
The event is organized by the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The assistance is provided within the framework of the project “Strengthening Voice and Accountability: Citizens’ participation and oversight of budget processes”, which is realized by the Development Policy Institute with the financial support of the Government of Switzerland.
One of the main problems of the qualification level of state and municipal employees is a lack of a sustainable, efficient and affordable training system. To solve this problem, the State Personnel Service with participation of experts have developed a new concept for modernization of public service to build an efficient and sustainable training system and professional development of state and municipal employees of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the round table strategic proposals on training with implementation plans will be presented. The approved strategy should make a difference and create a new training system for state and municipal employees in administrative positions. Besides, results of needs assessment on training and a new model of training for municipal employees will be also presented.
The round table will be attended by representatives of the Kyrgyz Parliament, the Presidential Administration, the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Personnel Service, secretaries of state, representatives of educational organizations, international and public organizations, local government bodies and independent experts.
Suggestions and recommendations of the participants will be taken into consideration during finalization of the training strategy.
