Representatives of target municipalities of VAP in Chui region will learn how to develop project proposals for grant
Training will be held from 12 to 21 January 2016 in all regional centres of Chui region.
More than 150 representatives of rural municipalities and Kemin City of Chui region will participate at trainings.
Trainings will be conducted with the aim of gaining skills and knowledge about the tools of project management. Projects must be directed to improve the living conditions of local communities, through their design and implementation.
According to Sultan Mairambekov, trainer, VAP Grant Specialist, the community leaders, satff of aiyl okmotu, deputies of local councils will participate at the trainings. "The main participants of our trainings - they are representatives of the target municipalities Project. But we are also invited per 1 representative from other non-target municipalities of Chui oblast - says he. - During the training participants will receive information on the nature and the life cycle of the project; while working in groups as they form the goals and objectives of the planned projects, get acquainted with the logical framework of the project monitoring and evaluation system. Also, participants of trainings will get information on implementation of the Regulation of the grant programme and application form for a grant".
By the results of trainings participants will develop the project proposals for grants. Within the framework of VAP several projects will be supported in the amount of 1 million soms on a competitive basis.
