On February 13, 2015 in Bishkek held a "round table" on the theme "Information field regions: distortion, communication gaps and breaks. The role of community media as a link between local government and traditional media".
The event was organized by DPI in the framework of the Voice and Accountability Project (VAP), funded by the Swiss Government in partnership with the British Department for International Development.
That event was also attended by Deputy Director of the State and the Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations (SALSGIR) Michail Khalitov, Senior National Coordinator for the Embassy of Switzerland Muratalieva Elvira, director of the Association of Community Media (AOSMI) Zhusupova Nazira, Chairperson of the Board of DPI Nadezhda Dobretsova, editors and senior journalists of Bishkek and regional media, NGOs and other experts.
