On January 27, 2012, in Lenin village of Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region the public hearings on the organization of housing and communal services (HCS) were held in the process of which the local population had approved the creation of HCS.
According to head of the local administration - Aiyl Okmotu - Cholponbek Murzakanov, for 20 years one of the pressing problems of today for the rural districts is its sanitary condition, there is no services for garbage collection, road repair work and gardening and landscaping of villages.
Lenin's rural district consists of three villages and a population of over seven thousand people. Most people are farmers, including cattle breeding more than 44%, agriculture 35% and more than 21% are engaged in the provision of services.
In addition, Lenin village council supported the initiative to create housing and communal services and defined area for litter dropping from the circuit №564, developed project budget and staff positions.
We hope with the help of international donors to purchase special equipment for public service, has added C.Murzakanov.
The event was realized with the help of the project "The voice of citizens and the accountability of local self-government: the budget process, financed by the Swiss Cooperation Office in the KR, in partnership with the British Department for International Development.
